Chocolate Bliss Balls

Vegan - Raw - Paleo - Gluten Free - Refined Sugar Free

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates (soaked in hot water for 10 minutes to soften)
  • 1 tbl Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbl Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tbl Hulled Hemp Seeds
  • 2 Tbl Sunflower butter (or nut/seed butter of choice)
  • 4 Tbl Raw Cacao Powder plus extra for rolling the balls 
  • 1/2 tsp Pink Salt

Optional Superfood Add ons

  • 1/2 tsp Ashwaganda
  • 1/2 tsp Mucuna

Instructions

Drain the dates from water. Place all of the ingredients in the work bowl of a food processor and start to pulse to break up the dates. Once everything is starting to form a dough let the motor run for a minute or two until smooth and creamy. 

Place the mixture in the fridge to firm up for 20-30 minutes.

Place a couple tablespoons of cacao powder on a plate and set aside.

Take the dough out of the fridge and using a standard ice cream scoop or two large spoons form small balls by rolling between your hands. 

Roll the balls in the cacao powder and make sure to tap a few times to remove any extra cacao powder. 

Keep in the fridge. Last for one week. Or one minute in my house ;)
